Beds & Cambs Wing South Sector Goaman Naylor Trophy Competition

We spent this weekend at RAF Henlow participating in Beds and Cambs Wing Sector Goaman Naylor Trophy Competition and Battle of Britain Parade.

The Goaman Naylor Trophy was awarded for the first time to commemorate the lives of two young cadets who passed away whilst serving on Squadrons in the sector.

The competition was held across two days and comprised of initiative and planning exercises. The cadets were assessed in 9 exercises and achieved 1st place in 6 of these and won1st place overall. This was a fantastic team effort and we are incredibly proud of all involved.

The weekend also included the first formal parade for the cadets since the start of the pandemic, parading the Wing Banner in commemoration of the upcoming Battle of Britain Day.
