1985 (Flitwick) Squadron  Air Training Corps

Well done to Cdt Little A who joined 7 Cadets from across the Wing to complete their 3 day Silver Expedition. The weather was changeable throughout the weekend, but while the rain challenged them, they were proud they pushed through and showed true resilience and teamwork over the 3 days. That’s a wrap for DofE expeditions this year.

We spent it having a fantastic time away with other cadets and staff from Beds and Cambs Wing at the Adventure Training Centre in Windermere! During the week we went on 3 mountain hikes reaching many peaks including Helvellyn and The Old Man of Coninston. We went orienteering, Ghyll scrambling, outdoor rock climbing, abseiling, mountain biking, high ropes, and much more! We even managed to fit in a trip to the Pencil Museum!
