Join as a Cadet
Are you aged between 12 and 17 and in School Year 8 or above?
If so you can join the Air Cadets as a Cadet!
Find out more about what we do by looking at the information on this website. Once you've decided to join, you'll spend 12 weeks in our Initial Training Flight (ITF) where you'll learn all the necessary skills and knowledge to get by as a cadet. After you've passed out of ITF, you'll be part of the biggest military youth organisation in the UK and you'll be able to participate in all the amazing activities provided by the Air Cadets!

Join as an Adult Volunteer
Are you aged over 20?
If so, you can join the Air Cadets as an Adult Volunteer! Whether you want to go into uniform or help out when you can as a Civilian Instructor, you can make a real difference to young people's lives, as well as having a fun and rewarding hobby yourself. If you have experience in an aviation based industry, have previous military experience, have experience as a sports coach or pretty much anything, we need people like you to help us deliver the best cadet experience possible!
